I would like to invite you to join us at Christ United Methodist Church. Christ Church has a warm fellowship of believers dedicated to loving the Lord, one another, and our community.

The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. Each of us has been given gifts and talents for our own personal growth and for the blessings of others. Our church has a diverse group of individuals who serve God in many different ministries. Among us are wonderfully gifted teachers, cooks, artists, gardeners, writers and musicians.

Our church serves within the community through feeding the needy, visiting hospitals, nursing homes and the elderly. Habitat for Humanity, the Circle of Care, and the fight against cancer through Relay for Life are a few of many outreach ministries supported by our membership. We host community support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Al -Anon, and we are in partnership with the American Red Cross as a disaster shelter. The United Methodist Children’s Home, Wesley Woods and missionaries in the field, Andy and Sue Peck, are other avenues of mission outreach for our congregation. Christ UMC takes seriously its responsibility to use our resources to serve God in the community and around the world.

Along with offering Bible Studies, we have prayer groups and mission groups that serve weekly. We have excellent Sunday School teachers for children, youth, and adults. In maintaining balance in life, we emphasize “Worship plus Two”: one worship service, one growth or study group and one service ministry each week. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st Sunday of every month. Following Worship Service, every 4th Sunday, we also enjoy a wonderful fellowship meal. (We have some great cooks!)

Yes, we are a very active church. We have a place for you to serve and be served.
